The National Theatre of The World's

Impromptu Splendor
(The Improvised Play Series)

March 16-27, 2010

Recipients of The 2009 Canadian Comedy Award for Best Improv Troupe!

Come see the freshest Canadian theatrical premiers never before seen by audiences!

Each night, the cast of Impromptu Splendor; Ron Pederson (MAD TV), Naomi Snieckus (The Second City), and Matt Baram (The Second City), will perform the ultimate theatrical tight rope act by performing a fully improvised play based on audience member's suggestions!

To add to the peril, they’re gonna improvise them in the styles of your favorite playwrights: DAVID MAMET, SAMUEL BECKET, TENNESSEE WILLIAMS, WOODY ALLEN, and more! Imagine White Christmas as if it was written by Woody Allen. Or Streetcar Named Desire as though David Mamet penned it.

Come see what the Toronto Star calls: "So spot-on it's hard to believe they just made it all up!"

"NNNN’s” from Now Magazine (Toronto)

One of the Funniest shows of 2009. (Time Out Chicago)

Interactive, dangerous, and totally original. Come once, come twice, come see them all. They all promise to be inventively different and totally improvised. Every night is a celebration of a play that will never again be repeated.

Every night is opening night and closing all wrapped up in one!
