Anne Frank: A History for Today
To enhance your experience of this moving historical account, Theatre Aquarius will transform the Ron and Donna Patterson Lobby with an exhibit by the Anne Frank
Center in New York during the run of this production. Explore this educational and informative exhibit about Anne Frank’s life, World War II, and the Holocaust as an added value to your ticket or subscription.
“Anne Frank: A History for Today” was developed by the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam and is offered exclusively in North America by the New York based Anne Frank Centre USA, Inc.
From Sept 15-Oct 10, the exhibit will be open every Tuesday 6:30pm-9:30pm, Wednesday 6:30-9:30pm, Thursday 12pm-4:30pm and 6:30-9:30pm, Friday 6:30-9:30pm, Saturday 12pm-5pm and 6:30-9:30pm, and Sunday 12pm-6pm.
Docents from the Art Gallery of Hamilton will be available to give tours of the exhibit on Thursdays from 12pm-2pm, and on Sun. Sept. 20 & 27 from 4:30pm-6pm.
GUEST LECTURE SERIES
As an added value to your exhibit and performance experience, please join us on the following dates for two amazing guest lecturers who will speak on themes related to Anne Frank and the Holocaust.
October 4th, 4:30pm - after the matinee performance, Frank Junger will discuss his experiences as a Holocaust survivor.
October 6th, 6:30pm - before the evening performance, Dr. Pamela Swett (a professor from McMaster University) will give a lecture on War and Genocide.
