Theatre Aquarius presents a very special Holiday treat. One of the most beloved movies of all time is now a major theatrical song and dance extravaganza, and this season, we have it here in Hamilton! White Christmas is a sure fire gem, imbued with sweet song, simple, old time virtues, and amazing dance! Filled with great Irving Berlin songs like Count Your Blessings, I Love a Piano, How Deep is the Ocean, and 23 more, including White Christmas, this show will make the Holidays truly joyous!
The story is classic: Song and dance men Bob Wallace and Phil Davis find that their former army leader, who runs an inn in Vermont, has fallen on hard times. They decide to stage a benefit for him and all their friends in the cause, including Betty Haynes and her sister Judy (in whom they are interested). The course of true love runs into some snowy bumps, but in the end, truth and romance win out.
Critics call it “irresistible”, “a sure-fire hit”, “great family fun,” “polished and ingenious” and, our favorite: “WHITE CHRISTMAS is just about the most perfect present you could have... it is quite simply one of the best musicals I’ve ever seen.”
